Purchase Power Adjustment Mechanism (PPAM)

The PPAM is designed to adjust customer billing based on changes in the cost of electricity used to operate the Company’s water system. This mechanism allows SWC to pass through increases or decreases in purchased power costs resulting from rate changes approved by the Commission for regulated electric service providers.
